A Ministry Rooted in Experience:

Meet the Ministry Team

With 27 years of experience as a Bible College and Seminary Professor and Lead Pastor, Pastor Paul is passionate about teaching and helping others apply Biblical principles.  He was also a hospital Chaplain for many years.  He moves in the gifts and ministry of teaching, wisdom, and prophecy.  Pastor Sharon is an intercessor and prophetic leader that equips others in effective prayer and their spiritual gifts and has been a Prayer counselor for many years at CBN and at other ministries. She has pastored alongside Paul for all 27 years! Together, they bring a powerful blend of the Word and the Spirit, believing that true recovery, healing, and equipping come through both.  Pastor Joshua Lee, the Pastor of Gardena Mission Chapel, lends his decades of experience as a Lead Pastor and Evangelist.  Lino Diaz brings in his experience as a Juvenile Hall Chaplain and teacher of the Bible as a Group Leader,  Jerry Rogers brings in his many years experience as a Bible Teacher both in the churches and at Harvest Bible University.  Kimberly Stephens is an ordained minister and is one of our gifted and experienced ministry team members.  At the center of it all is Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.

Our Mission: Recovery, Healing, Equipping

Love Never Fails Christian Recovery & Healing Ministry is dedicated to recovery, healing, and equipping in the power of God's love. We teach and train you in how to apply God's Word to overcome addiction, strongholds, and sinful habits. We also facilitate healing of heart wounds and healing of physical infirmities through the power of the Holy Spirit, guiding you to become the man or woman of God you were meant to be.

Equipping Leaders and Disciples for God's Kingdom

Our ultimate purpose is the Great Commission.  For the Great Commission to be fulfilled, God wants disciples raised up and leaders to be equipped, trained, and sent out so His Kingdom will multiply and He will have His will and desire of bringing many mature sons and daughters to Himself. Where do we come in? Our equipping and training differs from many churches or Bible colleges, seminaries, or teaching ministries.  We are focused on "hands-on" training in prayer, prophecy, healing ministry, use of Spiritual gifts, and leadership development.  Pastor Paul has been an Human Resources Manager for over 18 years and has trained hundreds of managers and leaders in the corporate world, church, and Bible college/seminary setting using Biblical principles and hands-on application.

Our Vision: Those in Need of Healing Becoming Healers

Jesus commanded His disciples: "Proclaim this message: The kingdom of heaven has come near.  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.  Freely you have received; freely give" (Matt. 10:7-8).  That's our vision.  We believe that God is using us to help heal and equip those in need so they can take what they've received and freely give it away.  Those going through the process of healing and wholeness are the very ones God wants to use to give away healing and wholeness to advance the kingdom of heaven here on earth.   All through His love and grace.

Guiding Principles

Love is at the heart of everything we do, because Love Never Fails. We value God's love and our love for one another, believing that it is God's love working through us that brings transformation. The Bible is our foundation, prayer is our connection with God where He brings the power of heaven to earth, worship honors Him, and fellowship supports one another.  As members of the body of Christ, we are committed to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.

Our Statement of Faith

  1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is God inspired (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).

  1. The Eternal Godhead

We believe that God is Triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).

  1. The Fall of Man

We believe that man is created in the image of God but that by voluntary disobedience fell from perfection, thereby imputing sinfulness to all human beings (Romans 5:12).

  1. The Plan of Salvation

We believe that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, signing the pardon for all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

  1. Salvation through Grace

We believe that we receive salvation when we come to God through faith in the atoning work of Jesus on the cross; salvation is God’s gift to us (Ephesians 2:8).

  1. Repentance and Acceptance

We believe that, upon sincere repentance and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God (Romans 10:8-10; 1 John 1:9).

  1. The New Birth

We believe that a very real change takes place in people who accept Christ as Savior; believers allow Christ’s life to be lived through them (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

  1. Daily Christian Life

We believe that it is the will of God for believers to walk in progressive sanctification, growing continuously in the faith (Hebrews 6:1).

  1. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4). We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolical use of bread and the fruit of the vine (1 Corinthians 11:24, 25).

  1. Baptism with the Holy Spirit

We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit empowers believers and that the Holy Spirit’s incoming follows the same pattern that is described in the New Testament (Acts 2:4).

  1. The Spirit-filled Life

We believe that it is the will of God that we daily walk in the power of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30-32).

  1. The Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon Christians (1 Corinthians 12:1-11), and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (Galatians 5:22-25).

  1. Moderation

We believe that people who follow Christ should avoid the extremes of fanaticism and pursue lives of balance and moderation, demonstrating gentleness and patience (Philippians 4:5, KJV; Colossians 3:12, 13).

  1. Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith (James 5:14-16).

  1. The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; Titus 2:11-13).

  1. Church Relationship

We believe that followers of Christ have a sacred duty to identify with the visible church of Jesus Christ and should meet regularly with fellow believers (Hebrews 10:24, 25).

  1. Civil Government

We believe that laws and ordinances come from God’s ultimate authority and should be upheld, except when they are in opposition to the revealed will of God (Romans 13:1-5).

  1. The Final Judgment

We believe every person will one day stand before the judgment seat of Christ to receive eternal life or death (Revelation 20:11-15; Hebrews 9:27; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

  1. Heaven

We believe that heaven is the glorious eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:1-3; Revelation 7:15-17).

  1. Hell

We believe that hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Christ as Savior (Revelation 10:10-15).

  1. Evangelism

We believe that the church’s primary responsibility is taking the gospel to the entire world and making disciples (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20).

  1. Tithes and Offerings

We believe the method ordained of God for the support and spread of His cause is giving tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:7).

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.   Love never fails". (1 Cor, 13:4-8)

GOD'S LOVE NEVER FAILS...
