Ministry Statement of Faith

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is eternal, loving, and sovereign.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins, rose again, and reigns forever.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus alone, bringing forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope.

We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers today with gifts, guidance, and boldness to live and minister in God’s power.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, our final authority for faith and life.

We believe the Church is called to worship, make disciples, and demonstrate God’s Kingdom through love, service, and the supernatural work of the Spirit.

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. 10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. (Eph. 2:8-10 AMP)

Our Core Values

  1. Everything starts with worshipping God and Jesus Christ, His Son and Lord and Savior of the world.
  2. Love one another just as Christ loved us. His love never fails so we strive to always walk in love.
  3. We are shepherds/pastors at heart and exist to support those that shepherd the body of Christ and others. We value, as a priority, caring for, spiritually feeding, and protecting people that God’s connects us to.
  4. Earnestly desire, practice, and move in your spiritual gifts to edify the body. It’s very important!
  5. Pray without ceasing. We don’t just come together to pray, we try to make our daily life one of prayer.
  6. Being naturally supernatural. We move in the gifts of the Spirit but in a way of order and love.
  7. The inspired Word of God is our guide in all things. Sound doctrine and application is key.
  8. We depend on the Holy Spirit in everything. He is the Unifier, the Equipper, the Mentor, the Healer.

What do we mean by “Mentoring”? is that Biblical?

Roles of a Mentor: Act as a coach, role model, trusted counselor, advisor, and sponsor who listens, shares knowledge, challenges, and provides constructive feedback.

So, a mentor in the Kingdom of God, supports, advises, prays for, counsels, equips and pours into, the lives of other believers.

A Christian mentor for ministers/leaders/pastors is an experienced, mature spiritual leader who provides one-on-one guidance, support, and accountability to another minister, typically in a, "confidante" role. These mentors help combat the isolation and burnout of ministry by fostering spiritual growth, offering wisdom on pastoral challenges, and helping to shape a Word-centered ministry.

Why mentoring?

Leaders and emerging leaders and ministers in God’s Kingdom and churches are often feeling isolated or without support.  It can be the lack of spiritual support, financial support, prayer support, and/or spiritual covering and feeling included in the church community.  Many can’t afford to get training or a ministry/theology based education (we partner with Harvest Bible University on this).

  • John C. Maxwell: "One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and help them navigate a course to their destination."
  • Tony Dungy: "Mentors build mentors. Leaders build leaders. When you look at it closely, it's really one and the same thing."
  • Tony Dungy: “Remember that mentor leadership is all about serving. Jesus said, ‘For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many’ (Mark 10:45).”

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.   Love never fails". (1 Cor, 13:4-8)

GOD'S LOVE NEVER FAILS...
